Q. I'm an existing member of Coastalwatch Plus, can I enter?
A. As an existing member, you can still take advantage of the epic competition (as if we'd let you miss out!).  Being an existing member automatically entitles you to 50 tickets, which is pretty handy. But if you want to double your chances for 100 tickets, you can renew your membership early for another year subscription. And if you want to double that again for 200 tickets, then you can renew your membership early for 2 years! All you have to do is head to the entry page and choose your ticket package. The subscription term you choose will be sent to you as a promo code that you simple use to top up your current subscription.

Q. Once I have entered, what happens next?
A. Once you have purchased your ticket package you will then be in the draw to WIN the all-inclusive GOLDEN PASSPORT for you and a mate. You also score a subscription to Coastalwatch Plus, meaning you’ll get access to 150 surf cams, the new 16 day Extended Forecast powered by Boost, local surf reports, extended forecasts, exclusive video and interviews and loads more.

We will send you two emails, the first confirming your order, and the second confirming your promo code for your subscription to Coastalwatch Plus. You will then be prompted to head over to Coastalwatch Plus to set up your account.

Q.
What are the dates of travel for the trip?
A. The 4 trips will be at a pre-determined time between August 2018 - July 2019

Q: Who can enter?
A: Entry is available to Australian Residents only aged 18 years and over. (Item 4)

Q: What kind of competition is this?
A: This competition is a game of chance. By entering, all entrants acknowledge that by purchasing a Coastalwatch Plus competition ticket package they are receiving the specified number of entries into the lottery (or chances of winning).

Q: When will the price be drawn?
A: On 11th July 2018 at 3pm AEST at 681 Barrenjoey Road Avalon NSW 2107. The first valid entry will receive a prize. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Q: What happens once the winner is drawn?
A: The winner will be notified by email and a phone call within 24hours of the draw taking place. The winner may also be published on the Coastalwatch social media platforms within 48 hours of the draw taking place. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on 21st July, 2017 at the same time and place as the first draw(s) in order to distribute any unclaimed prize. Winner will be notified by telephone and email within 2 days of the second chance draw.

Q: What happens if I no longer wish to take part in the competition?
A: You need to advise the Promoter (3CMG) in writing.

Q: What are the dates of travel for the trip?
A: Trip 1 – Maldives, August 2018. Trip 2 – Samoa, November 2018. Trip 3 – Mentawai’s – March 2019 and Trip 4 – J-Bay June/July 2019

Q: Can I change the dates of the trip?
A: No, the winner must be able to attend all dates of the four trips, the prize is non- transferable, the date cannot be changed, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Q: Is there more than one winner?
A: There is only one (1) winner and one (1) prize pack for that winner. The prize cannot be transferred shared or redeemed for cash.

Q: What is not covered in the cost of the prize?
A: All expenses (including but not limited to delivery, taxes and insurances) become the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated in the prize description.

Q: What will I get if the original prize is unavailable?
A: If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter (3CMG) in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Q: Are there any tax implications?
A: Sometimes this may happen. You may wish to seek independent tax advice prior to accepting the prize.

Q: What can alter or prevent the competition from taking place?
A: The promoter (3CMG) is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by:

- defects, delays and any other problems affecting technical equipment or telecommunication systems

- infection by computer virus, bugs, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter

- tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud

- intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changed the result or presents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to:

- vandalism, power failures, civil unrest, strikes

- tempests, natural disasters, acts of God. 

Q:
Can I be excluded from the competition?
A: The promoter (3CMG) can disqualify any individual who 3CMG has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions and /or engaged in any unlawful or other misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper running of the competition.

Q: Can I cancel my Coastalwatch Plus subscription after entering and/or if I am the winning entrant?
A: If membership is cancelled at any point prior to the competition completion and/or trips, entrants / winner forfeits all rights to prize fulfilment.

Q: What travel Documents are required?
A: The winner and their chosen guest MUST have a valid passport with a minimum of 12 months’ validity for International Travel and be able to travel to the destinations specified. 

Q: Does the completion include travel insurance?
A: No, this is the responsibility of the winner and their guest. 

Q: Does the competition include travel to the departing airport?
A: The winner and their guest are required to use the travel voucher supplied and/or their own additional funds to cover all travel unless otherwise specified.
